Mr. Jay Chen, Partner

Mr. Chen possesses extensive entrepreneurial and corporate leadership experience. As a tech entrepreneur, he co-founded a chip company that successfully exited through a strategic patent acquisition by a leading Chinese automaker. His corporate background includes serving as both an AI Engineer and Product Manager at top-tier technology firms, including Intel, where he spearheaded critical system optimizations and led major business ecosystem initiatives. Leveraging his deep technical acumen, Mr. Chen is dedicated to identifying target acquisitions and driving their operational efficiency through tech-driven solutions. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.

Mr. Hong, Senior Advisor

Mr. Hong brings extensive private equity investment experience across the Asian market, with a specialized focus on buyout transactions. His expertise spans both investment execution and hands-on operational improvement for businesses at various stages of the corporate lifecycle. He has successfully driven value and realized returns for investors across a diverse range of sectors, primarily in industrials, technology, consumer goods, and business services. Mr. Hong graduated with honors from Northwestern University.   

Mr. Huang, Senior Advisor

Mr. Huang has extensive fundraising experience across the Greater China Private Equity and Venture Capital industries. He has managed relationships with global institutional LPs that have collectively committed over $15.5 billion to the region. Mr. Huang graduated with honors from Northwestern University.

Ms. Chen, Senior Advisor

Ms.Chen serves as the CFO of Chengdu Tianjian Technology (002977.SZ), a company on the Shenzhen stock exchange. 

Mr. Zhao, Advisor

Mr. Zhao: Vice President at Ares Management, where he focuses on Greater China private credit transactions. Mr. Zhao was previously an investor at Anchor Equity Partners and has spent time at Barclays Investment Bank.

Mr. Saunders, Advisor

Mr. Saunders is a seasoned venture and private equity investor with a highly technical background. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth's School of Business and is also an 1898 Merit Scholar. Previously, he worked for the data engineering team at Blackstone, managing benchmarking processes for the company's private credit arm

Mr. Zhang, Advsior

Mr. Zhang is a Vice President at HOPU Investments. He joined the firm in 2021, where he focused the firm’s investing initiatives, including growth and buyout deals in healthcare and real estate. Prior to HOPU, Mike worked at Barclays Asia, where he supported all Greater China leveraged finance transactions.
